April 26, 2011 Albert Dale Bishop, 81, of Hono-lulu, a retired Navy veteran who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars, died in Las Vegas. He was born on Long Island, N.Y. He is survived by sister Virginia "Ginny," three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Committal services: 2 p.m Wednesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.

Avid tennis player, Master Points Bridge Player. Married Peggy Kennedy (deceased). Survived by children Matt, Ellen, Andy, 5 grandchildren, sisters Dawn Howell, Doris Rygh and Claire Borglin.
